Jim Marshall, creator of the Marshall amp, dies aged 88 →

I’ve been on a Helmet binge lately.
Why can’t this type of music make a comeback? We have to put up with 80’s saxophone, 60’s revivals, 70’s disco, and countless bands ripping off Joy Division and Cocteau Twins….why can’t we have some good, melodic, rhythmic, head-bobbing rock?
Screw it, who wants to make a band like this with me?
Matt Stone of Saxon Shore, rocking hard.
I can’t stop listening to this track. I really enjoy most of this album, but this song is the best. It’s been stuck in my head for 3 days.

Poppin’ Amber Embers (Saxon Shore Vs. Lil’ Wayne and Birdman)
This is what happens when I search for my own band on SoundCloud.
